Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you share with us the story about what brought you to this specific career path?
My son had severe developmental regression at 13 months. There were many gaps medically and physically for avenues to help him stabilize or regain any of his lost developmental milestones. Due to frustration and a personal need to help my son, I started to do trainings and therapy courses. Through this process, I developed my own technique to help him and others in all aspects of daily, functional movements. From there, the need for CB+Essentinal Oils emerged to help my existing clients. 

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you began leading your company?
I was working with a well known radio DJ, Johnjay of Johnjay and Rich. He said, “Why are there no videos? I can’t tell or describe to people what you do.” I found out what Youtube was and started to do instructional before/after videos of me working with children and adults. Now I’m known and travel all over the world. I have the largest library of videos working with people. When anyone asks, “How did you get to go to Bhutan? How do people know about you?” “Youtube!”

Can you share a story about the funniest mistake you made when you were first starting? Can you tell us what lesson you learned from that?
Since I work a lot with children, the topic of CBD has had some very strange responses as most people do not understand the difference between CBD and THC. I have spent much time educating people on the safety of my product. 

Are you working on any exciting projects now? 
Even though my company is brand new, I have already expanded from CBD+Essential Oils to add a pain cream and a freeze cream to my line of products. 

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I was talking with one of the parents of a child I have helped through my movement lesson therapy and I was expressing that I really saw a need for CBD infused products to enhance movement. Unbeknownst to me, this parent was already involved in the CBD industry. When I explained that I was looking for a quality, traceable CBD to pair with essential oils, we started strategizing the launch of movement oils. 

This industry is young, dynamic and creative. Do you use any clever and innovative marketing strategies that you think large legacy companies should consider adopting?
The power of a video is an amazing tool. I’m not fancy or pretty. I offer valuable information that is so readily accessible. I think that many feel that what they are trying to market via video is not perfect. They over work it and never release any content. Now I have one of the largest market shares in my industry. 

Can you share 3 things that most excite you about the Cannabis industry? Can you share 3 things that most concern you?
I am excited about the Cannabis Industry because many states have been able to allow the use of CBD as a form to enhance therapy. I am excited to partner with a supplier that has high quality, transparency and tracibitlity in their product. 
What most concerns me is that many people are interested yet confused to do CBD because they don’t understand what CBD is and how it works with the body. Also, not all CBD oils are high quality and some companies sell without the option to track where they are from. 

Can you share the 5 questions you should ask in order to successfully invest in the cannabis industry”? Please share a story or example for each. 
-Do you understand all the complexities of CBD and state/federal regulation? Although the federal government allows for sale of CBD, many states still have their own rules and guidelines.
– Do you have a business model that this fits into? A current niche, name, and network that can add value to your established clients? For example, my niche is adults that suffer from chronic pain and children with limited movement ability. My name Movement Lesson with Michelle Turner and my network is a global community of parents and professionals.
– Do you know a good supplier? As stated before, not all CBD oils are high grade. Know your vendor and do the research.
– Do you have a good relationship with your main supplier? Is that company current and reliable? Your business can explode and you need to keep inventory. At the same time, you need to be able to keep your name with a consistent quality.
– Do you have good credit? You cannot run sales through a standard bank. You’ll be working with a green cash agent that will be setting up your internet banking. 

This industry is young dynamic and creative. Do you use any clever and innovative marketing strategies that you think large legacy companies should consider adopting?
You Tube is my platform of choice because it allows me to speak to my clients. Through this platform I have gained clientele from around the globe.

What advice would you give to other CEOs or founders to help their employees to thrive?
You need to build and be there for your community. The world is changing to one that appreciates valuable information that will help them learn. Being a mentor to those that you are serving will push you to the right spot. 

You are a person of great influence. If you could inspire a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. 🙂

Did you know that in most countries, if a child cannot sit at a desk and hold a pencil, they will not be offered an education? If a child is poor or even the wrong gender, they are unable to participate in schools. I Deserve To Be Educated could bring awareness to this global problem. I would like to present for all members of the United Nations to agree in unity to offer an education to all children to a minimum of the 8th grade.
