Most people in the scientific community believe that cannabis derived cannabinoids, such as CBD, are perhaps the most important nutrients to ever come along. But the benefits of cannabinoids do not stop with plant phenols such as CBD. In addition to the CBD found in hemp oil, there are close to 150 other beneficial cannabinoids naturally present in hemp oil. Additionally, there are many other types of useful natural molecules and phytochemical compounds such as amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, and D), fatty acids (including Omega-3), trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, and potassium), beta-carotene, chlorophyll, flavonoids, ketones, nitrogenous compounds, alkanes, glycosides, and most importantly, terpenes. For example, terpenes have incredible biochemical powers when inhaled or ingested into the body, independent of the effects of CBD and other cannabinoids.
